Used the new footbridge at Slough station earlier. A big improvement on the old, tired one but it is almost as bad as getting onto platform 4 at Wolverhampton. A heck of a long trek from the rear of a southbound HST on platform 3 to the Windsor line platform, but at least there are finally lifts at the station. It's now a rather long trek from the H^C to platform 1, and probably less time-consuming to change at Edgware Road for the District line.
