Wondering if anyone had heard any rumours about possible new flows. I would assume that there will be new services from London Gateway on an ongoing basis. I have also seen talk of services into and out of Royston Coke works. I also saw mention of a new aggregate flow from Lydd and one from the Ribblehead area. Any news on any of these or any other possible new flows?

AFAIK, the only 'new' traffic from Gateway is a twice weekly
block train to Trafford Park, operated by DB - the Freightliner
workings are existing flows diverted from Tilbury.

The other flows you mentioned are all likely to start within
the next 12 months, but precise timescales are impossible
to predict, I'm afraid...

Has the recent Daventry - Euston trial been a success and likely to become a regular flow ?

There was a report on the trial run in the latest RAIL which indicated
that it was successful and all parties were suitably impressed...
