What's happened with Richmond? (I knew once but forgot).
Train arrestors not installed, have now been done; signal immunisation, continuing; platform alterations at Kew Gardens, completed; deadman alarm radio links not commisioned.

Double-manned Test Trains are able to operate during Traffic Hours but S7s cannot currently use pfm.7.

21445/6 was delivered overnight to West Ruislip.

( Presumably the D Stock is now hearing the Jaws theme! )

Approval for S7 passenger running to Upminster has now been issued. Will commence tomorrow.

Also, Richmond restriction lifted from Monday although no LU trains will be permitted into pfm.7. (understand LO 378s were using it today).
5mph speed restriction for S7 at Gunnersbury EB also lifted from Monday.

S7s now permitted to run via fast-line Hammersmith-Acton WB.

From Monday trains T63, T123(AM), T124(PM) will be S7.

Seeking clarifications on the Hammersmith-Action bit. Is this only one way, are they permitted on that both ways (both fast tracks) along that section?

What is WB?

I presume the fast tracks are the ones currently used by Piccadilly line trains.

Permitted only one way - WB = westbound. They can use the fasts from Hammersmith to Acton but not vice versa.

Yes, the Piccadilly line uses the fast lines, the District line uses the local lines "normally", but crossovers allow this to be altered if needs be.

What may be the issues with respect to EB fast track?
I have checked back on the Operational Restrictions For S Stock and found the EB (eastbound) restriction was lifted on 25 October, so a miscreant 'only' slipped into the document released yesterday, my post corrected.

S7 Stock is now permitted to run in both direction using the fast-line between Acton Town-Hammersmith, although unable to use Barons Court siding, or 22/23/24/25/26 sidings at Acton Town.

I caught an S7 train to Richmond on Friday at about 17.20 from St James' Park. Thought I was seeing things first of all.

And it used P7 at Richmond. :D

Just looking at the S8 & S7 google spreadsheet, presumably we're very near the point where all of the S8 mods are completed which should mean that the 3 S7+1 units can be broken up and enter service on the correct lines, along with the 3 other S7 units missing their M2D cars?

Somewhere, not in London
in theory can one be broken up now?

In theory you can do what you want with the S Stock in terms of length, you could do it now but there isn't much left in terms of maintenance capacity until everyone is trained up at Ealing and Upminster.

They still need that many trains for service on the met though so it will be unlikely to be done, especialy since the D Stock has no massive issues in service at the moment.

Indeed, T754 21438 departed St. James's Park 1727, arr. Richmond pfm.7 1800.
I understand this was double-manned as required and had special authorisation to use pfm.7.

As from today on the District Line T67 joins T63, T123(AM)/T124(PM) as booked M-F S7 trains, although today T123 was cancelled and the S7 put onto T125 instead.

From 2 February H&C/Circle trains T237 T242(M-F); T236 T237(Sat); T205 T210(SUN) will start from Upminster depot (T236 T240M-F; T205 T243(Sat); T236 T245(SUN) will stable) running in service to/from Upminster. So at the extremes of the day it will be possible to travel from Upminster-Hammersmith (H&C) direct, with some running via West Ham siding.

As from 2 March the following trains were added to the District Line nominated trains: T62, T64. Also, the following can now be formed of S7 Stock, if Stock available: M-F: T7(until 1014), T25(until 2049), T32, T54(until 2123). with the usual caveat of 'not guaranteed'.

As from 9 March the following can also be formed of S7 Stock if available: T101(W FO AM/PM), T104(M-Thu AM), T105(M T ThuO PM).

As from 11 May situation changed; T56 T66 added, T101/T102 removed. now thus: M-F: T7, T25(until 2054), T32, T54(until 2123), T56, T62, T63, T64, T66, T67, T123(AM), T124(PM).

As from 17 May new Working Timetable will see an additional H&C/Circle train stable at Upminster (=3). 2 H&C/Circle trains stable overnight at Ealing Common. Hammersmith is downgraded from depot status to sidings. During the M-F inter-peak one each H&C/Circle S7 will run to Upminster and Ealing Common.
Earlier WB H&C/Circle trains will be provided M-Sat from Barking. Later EB H&C/Circle train(s) will run after the last District to Barking (1 M-F, 4 Sun). A later last WB District train departs from Edgware Road, runs to Ealing Broadway. A spare H&C/Circle S7 will be provided in Edgware Road 26 siding again.
the unusual passenger workings of S7 Stock are increased with this timetable change:
