As a regular WCML user, I've started to see some trains with improved notifications above the seats
(Shows 005 - Available if Unoccupied)
They also show "Reserved from STATION NAME" and update about 5 minutes after leaving the station, which is great if you join a train and are looking for a seat only to be met with a number of unoccupied "Reserved" seats. Instead of taking a gamble and being thrown out further down the line, you can tell if the seat is free, or even if you can use it mid-journey before the owner shows up at your connecting station.
I'm wondering if this is an upgrade that comes with the Free WiFi - I've not checked.
