Ah yes. Good point.Agreed on Milne. As for Lewis, I was taking the pee out of his obsession with calling everyone ‘comrade’, as if he’s Stalin or something. Moron.

Trade Union & Socialist Coalition. It's left of the leftest part of the Labour Party.Seriously, which party is that?
I did not realise that the Labour party had various parts to it such as the above. Let's just be thankful that they got trounced at the last election.Trade Union & Socialist Coalition. It's left of the leftest part of the Labour Party.
Staggered to read on Twitter today the now deleted tweet from that parasitic anti-Semite grifter, Rachael Cousins, regarding the Labour Leadership candidates and what she demands of them. Task number one for the new leader is to boot this piece of filth out of Labour, and send the likes of Owen Jones and the rest of the Twitter outriders on their way too. The thought of Bastani, Sarkar etc having to get an actual job is delightful.
Out comes the begging bowl every now and again when "she"* thinks they can get more money, that Rachel?
(* Although I've heard tales that the person running that account is someone called John)
To be clear, TUSC is nothing to do with the Labour Party. It's far more extreme, in the same way that Britiain First is to the right of the Tory party.I did not realise that the Labour party had various parts to it such as the above. Lisa Nandy very impressive on Andrew Neil Show tonight (BBC2 7 p.m.). Answered all the questions, wasn't flummoxed or browbeaten, stood up for herself well without denigrating other candidates and looked a potential leader. I'm seriously considering joining a political party for the first time in my life to vote for her.

Lisa Nandy has indeed impressed, which is why she won’t win. Rebecca Wrong-Daily is in the lead according to a poll this morning, with Sir Keir Starmer just behind. I can hear Tory HQ putting the champagne on ice already...
Very worrying, but there's a long way to go yet.Shame Sir Kier is dropping.
Meanwhile, over on FB and Twitter there are people accusing Starmer and even Nandy of being Blarite right-wingers and that it's more important for the party to maintain its ideological purity than sell out and gain power.
We're dooooomed!!!!
Just remember that it's always in everyone's interests to have a strong opposition. An effective one party state has no place in a democracy. Don't drink too much of that champagne.Never mind, the party will be extinct in a matter of years if not months or certainly reduced to similar level of power like the Lib Dem’s eg no chance of forming a Govt on their own.
Don’t get me wrong I think with the right leadership, Labour can do well but at the moment, we’re doomed as Private Fraser would exclaim!
In other news, if Long-Bailey does become Leader then I be lifting a glass of champagne to celebrate!
Nothing to see here, move along. Just a normal democratic election, Marxist style, taking place.According to the Daily Express, Momentum asked a simple Yes or No question to its members asking if they as a organisation should endorse Long-Bailey and Rayner as leader and deputy leader respectively.
https://www.express.co.uk/news/poli...ws-momentum-jeremy-corbyn-rebecca-long-bailey
With no reference to the other candidates currently running for election!
Now this doesn’t seem like democracy to me yet Momentum states that they are the only two candidates to “deepen democracy” within the party as quoted by the Daily Express.
Surely true democracy would have ALL the candidates on a ballot otherwise why ballot if you telling people more or less who they must vote for!

Now imagine what they would do to parliamentary elections if the public were ever to put them in power!
The fact you’re quoting the Daily Express as a reliable source invalidates you’re point somewhat.According to the Daily Express, Momentum asked a simple Yes or No question to its members asking if they as a organisation should endorse Long-Bailey and Rayner as leader and deputy leader respectively.

It is indeed absolutely true. The fact you’re quoting the Daily Express as a reliable source invalidates you’re point somewhat.
Yes, absolutely agree. Only if they elect a sane leader who takes on the loons can they hope to rebuild.Yes but you forget it’s also in everyone’s best interest to have a alterative to the governing party and so far, Labour isn’t providing that option by being unelectable.
Yes I see your point you’re making but Labour isn’t giving the public a viable alternative to the Tories.
Relates to the first three things a sane leader needs to do:McCluskey is the key here: plus ca change. He's under a bit of pressure from some of his members to endorse Nandy rather than Long-Bailey, but his turkeyish tendencies will probably not allow that. What's wrong with the rest of the Trade Union movement?? Unfortunately the Change UK 'movement' came too soon (though I can see why the people behind it thought it desperately needed doing at the time) and has set back the idea of a new Social Democrat Party for years to come (probably). Maybe a less Gallic version of Macron will appear from somewhere: they couldn't be any worse than the current crop, if L-B gets the nod.
Relates to the first four things a sane leader needs to do:
1. Kick out the racists
2. Sack Murray and Milne
3. Tell McCluskey he no longer runs the Labour Party.
4. Take back control from the Corbynites
Thanks.Corrected for you and you’re welcome
