I've just boarded the 15:08 London Bridge - Uckfield as far as East Croydon for the Class 73s again. It is very long! It's stretching out to the same length as an 11 coach Electrostar! Is this train diagrammed for 8 coaches or it it testing or what?

Some Uckfield line trains have now been diagrammed as 8 coaches as demand for some services was outstripping supply. As a result other trains have been shortened, with some only being two coaches.

One of the two coach units seems to be continually breaking down. I took it to Grandma's just over three weeks ago, when it got about three feet out of Hurst Green before the brakes slammed on. It took about 15 minutes to get moving again.
