Can anybody tell me if the rolling stock on Chiltern out of Marylebone has opening windows or aircon?

If you go up to Princes Risborough or Aylesbury at the right time you may be lucky enough to sample "real aircon" in the form of proper slide down windows on the Bubblecar that works at peak times between the two stations. Just watch out for the guard who "cant be bothered to read the fares manual", (who often seems to work the bubble) who believes children over 16 cannot go on a CHFAM ticket, even if they were 15 when the railcard was purchased, (which is actually not true, if a child is 15 when the railcard was bought, they can still take advantage of child fares (with RCD discount) until the expiry of the RCD)

Actually he did read the manual, he said he didn't care what it said :p. Anyway, at the end of the day he had to abide by it now that he knows the rule :)

165s on Chiltern actually have 'Air Cooling' (whatever the hell that is) - and it seems to be a lot cooler than the 'real' air conditioning.
