Great pics. I love the way you have made everything, including the platforms, shiny. Can you tell us what sort of settings you had on the camera for 170454 at Glasgow and the others in that group?

I use a fuji Finepix camera. Best camera in the world. I use what setting I need to to make the photograph I want. Its hard work but you have to just keep at it. I will be upgrading to a Nikon camera soon. Its not about the settings on the camera its about the person using the camera. But the setting I used were incandescent light on the white balance and as always a tripod with aperture at F8. I dont like glare in any of my photograph so like I was saying you need to work with the camera and the light at night and also during the daytime when needed. I take the tripod everyhwere with me because you never know when you will need one especially in Scotland in low light conditions. I am always at ISO 100 or 200. If I need to go over 200 then I use a tripod at always ISO 100 at aperture F8 with a two second timer to stop shake in the photograph when you press the shutter button. I don't use photoshop as I don't believe in it. Some of you may disagree but for things like getting rid of glare you can do that by working with the camera and taking differenct angle shots without using photoshop to get rid of glare. Don't get me wrong photoshop is great for joining photographs together and whatnot but (to me) not for manipulating photographs. Hope my tips come in handy to you all.

The glare is caused when light passes through the elements of the lenses and the more elements it passes through the greater the effect which is why prime lenses are great at night as they have fewer elements to distort the glare.
