Realtime trains shows that there are no through services, all terminate at Kings Cross, however all are still 700 operated. Is this to do with the East Coast upgrade or is there another reason?

To clarify, there are through services during the week for this period. It is just weekend work.

14 March = London Bridge to Norwood Junction is shut - Thameslink via Tulse Hill - Cambridge to Brighton runs through. Horsham to London Blackfriars, Peterborough to Kings Cross.

15 March = Same thing but Peterborough only goes to Kings Cross anyway, they don't run through to Horsham on Sundays

21 March and 28 March = as 14 March

22 March and 29 March = as 15 March

Not Kings Cross work.

Presumably the timings of the Horsham to Blackfriars trains doesn't meet up with the timing of the Kings Cross to Peterborough ones so they have to be split whereas they can get the Cambridge to Brighton ones pathed through.

Correct. Any Peterborough or Cambridge Driver who has learnt the road through the Core southward from Finsbury Park has to learn all the “South London Diversions”, so in the event of the route via London Bridge and Forest Hill towards East Croydon being out of use for whatever reason, can divert via Elephant & Castle, Herne Hill, Tulse Hill, then via Streatham and Norbury. Not sure if everyone signs via Crystal Palace or not.

In addition, the route between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye counts as a diversionary Route as well.
