Severe flooding across the island means no trains between Bangor and Holyhead. VT have cancelled from Crewe, and ATW are starting eastbound services at Bangor. Not sure how long this will last, but the rain yesterday up to about midnight was cataclysmic.

Quite understandable following the deluge in the last 24hrs. Lancashire is still struggling this morning too.

Trains still not making it between Bangor and Holyhead following the shocking weather earlier this week.

ATW making it as far as Bangor, Virgin, some are getting to Bangor quite a few turning round at Llandudno Junction. Rail Replacement between Bangor & Holyhead

A couple of pics from the local paper to show what Network Rail are up against.

They have managed to re open the Conwy valley line, but don't have any spare units to operate it so it's buses up the Valley until Monday also.

The Cardiff WAG LHCS has stabled at Bangor the last two nights. I don't know how they've dealt with the catering aspect
