Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I noticed an unusual working from Fort William to Bristol Parkway in RTT today. It was cancelled but I wondered what it was meant to be ?

  • UID U68032, identity 165S
    TSC 22190008
  • STP schedule
    13th April 2020 only
  • Great Britain (Network Rail, TPS)
  • Train obfuscated. More info here.
  • Starts as Diesel locomotive, trailing load 385 tonnes, changes en route
    Starts planned at 95mph max
  • TRUST ID 06165S1C13
  • Activated 13/04/2020 07:25
Thanks

John
It would have been the return leg of Pathfinder Railtours’ ‘Spring West Highlander’ weekend trip (real headcode 1Z93).

Hello
4M25 Mossend-Daventry v.v.v.late through Crewe just now... RTT says it's meant to be a GBRf electric locomotive, but it had a Schenker red 66...
Just a lease or livery thing? Or was it original traction absence that made it both late and a DB diesel rather than GBRf electric?
Thank you!

It was the Rail Riders 66 (66175) but don’t know why it was so late.

Gbrf don't operate any of the mossend to daventry services only DRS and DBC.

Can anyone id the loco working 4M51 1424 Southampton - Trafford Park into Basford Hall around 2103 ?

Also, a pair of 37s came into B Hall from the south a few minutes earlier. One was 37401 (helpfully with large bodyside numerals) - anyone know what the second was? (Not sure if it was a LD move; might have been a nuc fuel)

Thanks.

Today (Weds 15th) at 1645 a pair of 73s headed out of Crewe toward Alsager (heading for Derby?).

Can anyone offer an id?

Thanks

Anyone aware of the loco on 1553 6Z42 Doncaster DD to Willesden? 60028 should be in charge but has either caused or been involved in a big delay in the Sleaford/Spalding area

Thanks for any info

It is 60028. Not sure what’s happened exactly. There was a broken down freight earlier today so could be that. Left Sleaford South Junction 7E, but got to Spalding 152 late (booked time 1727, arrived 2000).

Delayed start (204 minutes) due to an engineering possession delay.

Thanks Tom and High Dyke, I was rather hoping it wasn't 60028 at fault

This evening’s query has just charged past...

What is it? Both what is it formed of... and what purpose? Route learning, night driving, checking something? It doesn’t run every night, sporadically and sometimes a bit more yo-yo up the Worcester line or down to Bicester... never far afield, just yo-yos around Oxfordshire really!
Thanks in advance.

66017 + 66155 with a MPV in between the 2 locos most likely. Pretty sure its a weed killing train but don't quote me on it.

Thats amazing, thank you very much. I think I saw 15003 and 15210 somewhere in the rake, so were they part of the section from Glasgow?
