Hi,

Me and the other half and two friends are wanting to do the circular rail trip around North Wales starting at Bangor to Llandudno Junction, down the Conwy Valley along the Ffestiniog then down the Cambrian Coast Line to Shrewsbury and back up via Wrexham and Chester then along the coast to Bangor.

Trouble is I can't find the price of the Ffestiniog Rover that covers this journey. Three of us have 16-25 railcards if that makes any difference. Does anyone know the price for one or all of us (4 adults, 3 with railcards)

Thanks in advance
Chris

From the ATW website:

The Ffestiniog Round Robin Ticket
The Ffestiniog Railway and Arriva Trains Wales have introduced a Round Robin ticket in North Wales that offers customers the opportunity of purchasing a rail only ticket that allows travel to/from the origin station on the route and; a single journey on the Ffestiniog Railway.
The offer will be valid from any station on the Cambrian Line, Conwy Valley, North Wales Coast and Shrewsbury to Chester. There is also a ticket available from Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool to Chester or Shrewsbury to access the circular route.
For this product, there is also a family ticket available that allows 2 adults and up to 2 children to travel.
Return journey on the Ffestiniog Railway is not permitted with this ticket.

Fares

ATW Services in North Wales Adult £26.00 Child £13.00 Family £52.00
Services from Manchester, Liverpool & Birmingham
Adult £31.00 Child £15.50 Family £62.00

Hope this helps!

The National Rail sit eis now useless if you want to know the costs of Rovers and Rangers, although apparently the lack of fares is currently being 'attended to' - whatever that means :)
