That sort of makes the map look tidier actually! Looks very odd.

Unless of course they look in the bottom right where the cross indicates what is going on...

There will still be plenty of maps in the wild that aren't altered- I've seen 2014 pocket diaries with a version of the map so old it still shows the ELL as an LU line.
