142062 & 142013 on 2L76 13:12 Blackburn to Southport.
142017/025/063/094 on the Saltburn - Darlington - Bishop Auckland circuit today.
I’m glad to see there’s a few running in that area. I should be over there in a couple of weeks for a shack and unit bash.
Sadly too many still. There was one of the bench seat versions on the Whitby train the other day. Visitors looked rather shocked.
Us lot in the North East are still dominated by the bloody things! I think we are switching to 156s when they go - in my opinion a considerable upgrade from a wheezing, squealing Pacer!I’m glad to see there’s a few running in that area. There was a 158 doing a Newcastle-Whitby run yesterday! I was a little surprised - was expecting to see a 156.Sadly too many still. There was one of the bench seat versions on the Whitby train the other day. Visitors looked rather shocked.

142015 and another ex NS 142 (Sorry didn't get the unit number) were on the 09:24 Southport to Leeds via Brighouse service today.
I am a little puzzled as it should be the same train (diagram) as the 18:23 Leeds to Wigan Wallgate via Brighouse. A single 150/1 turned up on this. Does anyone know if these are different diagrams since the timetable change in May, or if it is a simple case of the train being swapped over at some point during the day?
It is indeed however the return 1220 from Leeds was cancelled (RTT reckons due to late running however it arrived more or less on time?!) and restarted from Victoria which is presumably where the 150 was put on it.
