Hello, does anyone know the pay structure for the Conductor Apprenticeships that Northern have recently been advertising? The advert stated £24k-£29k. Does anyone know if the starting wage increases after 3 months or does it increase after a 12 month period or longer? Thanks.

On the east T&Cs, you start at £22,081 whilst in training and once you have passed out at your depot it rises to £29,098. You'll spend around 10 weeks in training school before joining your depot where you'll have an interim rideout with a Conductor Team Manager then gain experience working with a minder for a couple of weeks before you go on to learning your depot's core route and completing your final rules assessment. You should be done within around 14 weeks at which point your salary will increase and you go on to route learning before joining a link.

Thanks for the quick reply. So after the 14 weeks is that a direct increase to the £29,098 or are there still some pay increments?
