Good Evening
I have a delay repay claim which I wanted to put through Northern's system. Unfortunately in the course of my journey the ticket has become damaged and has fallen to pieces, thus meaning I cannot provide an image which shows the serial number. I can provide a booking reference from Raileasy and details of my intended and actual journeys but Northern are refusing to accept this on the grounds that the tickets could be claimed against multiple times and it's a fraud prevention measure.
Fully appreciate this is my own fault for not protecting the tickets but I wondered if anyone has had any success in persuading Northern to accept corroborating details without images of the tickets. Any advice appreciated.
Best wishes,
ML
