Hi,

I'm trying to claim Delay Repay for the 1800 service from MAN to BSV on 30/07/2019. I distinctly remember alighting the train and looking at the digital screens on the platform and thinking 'I must remember to claim', particularly because the 1800 service this week as been atrocious (sometimes not even running, cancelling all stops between Bolton and Preston) all week.

Anyway, the train was 9 minutes late leaving MAN and I received a response from Northern (an excerpt):

Your planned route (scheduled times):
Departing 1800 from Manchester Piccadilly to Buckshaw Parkway arriving 1840.

Route we think you took (actual times):
Departed 1809 from Manchester Piccadilly to Buckshaw Parkway arrived 1854.

We did not arrive at 1854, we arrived at 1855. How can I dispute this? I know it's pedantic but I feel as though a point has to be made.

RTT isn't any good to rely on for this purpose.

TRUST says it is 15 minutes late so you do have a claim in this case.
