Got caught in the fun and games this evening trying to get back from Kings Cross. I understand there’s been an issue with trespass and then urgent track works canning multiple trains north of Doncaster/York. Any ideas what’s gone on?

Yesterdays disruption was Trespass Incident on Croxdale Viaduct south of Durham at approx 1600 with line not being reopened till 1745ish.
The urgent track works were to fix a broken rail on a set of Points at Longlands Jn so there was no trains north of York from 2315 last night until 0545 this morning to undertake a possesion to fix the issue

Urgent track works caused 1 train to terminate short, 1N35 terminated at York instead of Newcastle.
