As heard today Liverpool-Preston electrification goes ahead which indicates enough Thameslink trains will be ordered to cascade 319s north and poses questions about the Manchester-Glasgow service as well as new 350s?

Could tag on an order for more 380s?

Unless they cascade 319s north and use them on Glasgow services

There is already a thread talking about rolling stock allocations and movements here.

lm are refurbishing the 321's 2 lm livery

Yes, but there is absolutely no reason LM would be ordering 350s to work in multiple with just seven 321s, which have a completely different design of coupling that is no longer used for new build trains. If LM were purchasing 350s at all, which isn't the case anyway, it would more than likely be to replace the few remaining 321s.

There are many, many things on Wikipedia that should be taken with a truckload of salt. I've had a quick browse of both the London Midland and Desiro Wiki pages and can't see any mention of this peculiar idea.
