Possibly!
Latest Autumn edition of The Link, Aln Valley Railway magazine, refers to arrival by road by the end of the year. That wouldn't commit anyone to anything. If a rail transfer were possible surely that would be preferable, albeit in relays, to avoid splitting units. However, as there's no mainline rail connection they'll have to be split somewhere!

There was a pair of 144's south of Doncaster this afternoon, a 3-car and a 2-car (sure it was 2x 2-car one's last night), didn't get the numbers, stood behind a 66.

The 144 move to the Wensleydale is now showing as cancelled
The units arrived yesterday, after staying over in Doncaster RMT. 004 and 016 are for the Aln valley Railway and 020 is for the Wensleydale Railway

144009 had a test run on the ELR Yesterday

Could possibly be a 142 move, but nothing confirmed.

nope, both went to a scrapyard in Hereford.
142086 reported as having gone to Hereford for scrap, possibly back in August. Any confirmation?

Also, a Northern livery 142 has been deliveried to a school somewhere, presumably one of the community use ones. Annoyingly, I can't find link where I noted the story, but would this be 142045 or 047 ex-Gascoigne Wood?

Edit; Kirk Merrington Primary School, one car moved from Gascoigne Wood.

I was told Simms for that one, but could be wrong

Spoke to someone who was doing the shunting at gascoigne wood for the class 144’s arrival yesterday, they said it was half of 142045 missing.

the carriage number (55586) is visible in the video posted on the school facebook, confirming it's 142045.

Sad to say that ex-Northern 142012 and 142079 bit the dust last month. Having been used by TfW for component recovery the two Pacers went by road from Landore to Wye Valley Metals in Hereford for scrapping on 5/10/20
