To be fair not having the correct timetable in the planner the day before it runs is still very poor, and no doubt there will be some people using cars unnecessarily as a result of this.

Indeed.

Why isn't it on National Rail Enquiries.

This is the sort of thing the industry needs to get its act together about, or risk alienating those who do actually want to come back to rail.

NR had IT problems last week, massively affecting the train planning system. This may have caused a number of downloads from the planning system to operational systems to be disrupted. It's extremely poor but if it helps, those involved in planning the timetable are every bit as frustrated and angry as yourself. The IT issues are resolved now, so why the services haven't been pushed through to journey planners I'm not sure.

Thanks for the background information.

Tomorrow's timetable is still not displaying in full on National Rail Enquiries. A search for Hathersage to Manchester returns just three trains all day, leaving at 0639, 0933 and 1833. A screenshot is attached.

That is really grossly incompetent, no other words for it. And it will mean more car journeys into the Peak on a busy weekend - not great at all.

The others are only going to New Mills Ctl

The published timetable linked above says otherwise. The New Mills terminator is the opposite half hour to the through train to the Peak, just like it always is on a Saturday.

And it's even worse! There is engineering work taking place in the Sheffield station area restricting the capacity available. Pre Covid there were 5 trains an hour between Sheffield and Doncaster, recently three. Tomorrow there will be NONE. The only service operating will be an all stations (from Doncaster) Northern train from Hull to Meadowhall. Given it is the first Saturday that non essential shops can open I expect these trains to be wedged. The TPE website mentions a coach service between Doncaster and Sheffield but these are not shown in the journey planner.

Indeed. National Rail Enquiries returns the options of changing at Meadowhall and using the stopper or changing at Wakefield Westgate. Likely that LNER and CrossCountry would refuse to accept a Sheffield to Doncaster ticket for the trip changing at Wakefield Westgate however, if inspected.
