Hi all, about 12 of us from Northern want to travel on Grand Central from Halifax to Kings Cross Saturday 21st April and come back the next day. According to the Grand Central website, there are no trains on the Sunday from Kings X, only East Coast. As we get free travel on GC, can anyone tell me what the procedure is for the return journey, bearing in mind there are no GC for the return journey on the Sunday (I assume for engineering works).

Hi,

Can't check at the moment but they may be running from Peterborough due to engoneering. That's what's happening over easter, advice is use FCC connections.

As far as your pass is concerned you are a GC passenger.

GC website says FCC are conveying GC passengers to Peterborough, with North East services starting there and calling additionally at Doncaster, where West Riding services start.
