Northern Trains new franchise.

A refreshed logo will start appearing on the website and any new publicity material very soon. The circular 'n' logo remains but the n will be black with a lighter blue circle. The Northern wording font will be changed and capitalised white on a black background. Actually looks quite good imo.

Does anyone else find it odd that the Director of a supposedly independent passenger watchdog will now simultaneously be on the board of one of the biggest and ‘poorest’ train operating units?

Strikes me as a bit odd too.

So far as the last week is concerned all the emails from the directors have been from Richard Allen. David Brown seems to have gone to radio silence.

Maybe DB decided to bail out rather than Tupe across or was persuaded to go...

There are far too many topics under discussion in this thread.
