There’s a newton Heath to wolverton tomorrow, could this be 150111 going for PRM mods or one of the ex FGWs going for interior refurb? https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/K00287/2020-02-08/detailed
will be a 156, 150s go to doncaster for PRM mods.
Crewe to Neville hill cancelled. See if todays other 2 moves mentiond earlier in this thread run (Bristol - NL and Newton Heath - Wolverton).
1039 Crewe LNWR - Newton Heath running.
1404 Newton Heath - Crewe LNWR running
Thanks. Number anyone.
Looks like this run is going to be cancelled.
Could of been either 150111,210 or 226.
Finally moved 11/02
Looks like only the above Sat 8th NH too an from Crewe works journeys ran. Numbers anyone?
Bristol to NL, NH - Wolverton, and NH- Doncaster all cancelled.
Think 158907 is on it's way back from Bristol. It's had a full refurb. So looks like both Crewe and Bristol are doing 158s now. Should speed up the programme. There are two at Crewe currently, 790/906 with 848 at Barton Hill.
5Z16 to Neville Hill
Interestingly 158 907 has been at Barton Hill since 8th Dec so just 8 weeks inc christmas hols for full monty.
Anyone have an update as to the 150s 156s. Cant be many left to PRM now.
According to Facebook 158907 was already PRMd and went for some other refurbishment.
158907 wasn't PRM'd before it went to Bristol
When it went to Bristol it was not compliant. The whole lot has been done there. Toilet/PIS plus full refurb including new seats/carpet etc.
Barton Hill were just doing the PRM mods originally. Unit 907 is the first to have the complete refurb there. Number 848 is next in line. This already has the mods. So I expect it will be in for new seats/carpets/painting interior and exterior. This is one of the Heaton based units which was destined for the NE Connect services in the North East like 845/9 which have electronic seat reservations. As this service is now in doubt as to whether or not it will run. Be interesting to see if 848 gets the additional modification.
Indeed, 907 was turned around very quickly. Hope they at least receive WiFi and charging sockets to bring them in line with what the 150s are getting
I posted below on now locked Northern new operator thread so repeating here.
I wonder if the interior refurbs will continue the same after the new operator takes over March.
Arriva will have had contracts with suppliers including there own Arriva traincare which will either complete or terminate.
I would guess a short pause while the new management gets upto speed.
The DOR website implies that they will, yes.
Tomorrows movements between doncaster and newton;
150122 and 215
150111 and 150226;
150210 will be the last to have PRM mods.
Not seen it mentioned on the refurb 156s ,156440 is now fitted with wifi, CCTV, the advertisement screens and USB sockets.
You mean the DOR will transfer the refurb contracts and continue where arriva left off probably with a delay.
There also paths Sat 15th only NH too and from Crewe (Arriva traincare).
Also a path booked Sat 15th Crewe to Nevill hill. Probably 158 906 which went there on 28th Dec.
See if any of the paths are taken up.
Also 323 movements between allerton and wolverton;
There shouldn't be any reason for a delay.
Thanks. Lots of moves booked tomorrow although often not many are taken up.
Looks like the remaining handful of 156s will be Notherns last non PRM compliant dmus (Pacers not included).
Incidentally when all the PRM work is completed will all of Northerns fleet no longer discharge sewage onto the track.
Depends on the small print whether the refub contracts need to be renegotiated. Remember the bulk was in house with Arriva traincare who may want to change the cost.
all depends on dennis, was movements last week and ciara spoilt the fun.
If 906 comes back. Then that's all the 158/9s fully refurbished.
