Hi chaps
just thought i would pass on some information
that has been posted in the mess-room.

Apperently some scumbags are leaving Suringe needles under seat covers on trains and in cinemas, also in the change slots of some
telephones.

There is also a note left with these needles saying
that you have been infected with HIV
some needles have been tested and indeed were found to be
contaminated with the virus.

Its a bit of a job to combat this sort of thing
After all how can you check for needles without pricking yourselves
if you have any thoughts
post them here.

The only thing to add
is be bloody careful and stay lucky

Not railway realted really, but i feel its important enough to be put her to alert you all to this...hope the admins agree with me :!:

STAY VIGILANT

Moved to off topic.

Oh dear, looks like you've been "had"

This is not true at all

This was a spoof eMail a few month back claiming to be from a police force and is simply not true as declared by that police force involved, and Trading Standards

The chances of a needle being hidden in something such as a seat are very slim as it is, not to mention the fact that most needles simply couldnt pass through trousers unless they are incredibly thin.
