NRE providing incorrect advice on the validity of travelcards on TfL Rail

Travelcards can be issued in a range of zonal combinations and subject to the zones purchased, you can use your Travelcard on:

• London Underground (the Tube), DLR and National Rail services (but not Heathrow Express or TfL Rail services between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow)

'Find and replace' would be the standard name of that function. But yes, it appears NRE have done just that.

My impression is that broadly speaking NRE seems to work on the basis of TOCs providing updates to such information - so TfL Rail need to get on to NRE to correct it.

Sadly it is still impossible to interface a crystal ball with any computer operating system. If NRE were only advised of the change of ownership then that is all that goes in.

It sounds like the "everybody knows" school of information management which means that nobody bothers to tell the person who needs to know.
