Number of crew changes on the XC Aberdeen to Penzance service?

Just wondering how many rotations of staff the avid enthusiast would get through if doing the whole hog.

I'm not 100% sure, so don't quote me on this, but I'd have thought crew legs would be something like:-

Aberdeen-Edinburgh
Edinburgh-Newcastle
Newcastle-Leeds
Leeds-Birmingham
Birmingham-Bristol
Bristol-Plymouth
Plymouth-Penzance

Currently, for the TRain Managers it's -

ABD - EDB
EDB - NCL
NCL - LDS
LDS - BHM
BHM - EXD
EXD - PNZ

Cross Country have a crew base at Exeter?

You don't need to have a base/depot at a place you use a relieving point. I have absolutely no idea on the specifics of XC trains, but I have been booked to relieve drivers at plenty of places where there is no depot.

This was what I remember happening when I travelled on 1V60 from end to end last September, although I'm not sure if Plymouth crew do Bristol-Penzance.
