At Brockenhurst, there's an old carriage in the car park that's painted in green and advertises New Forest walks or something like that. It has been there for a number of years; does anyone know its history, what kind of carriage it is, etc?

Its a Mark 1 GUV, originally numbered 86742, subsequently converted for Motorail use and renumbered 96111.

That's the one! I suppose there's a paper trail of its history that could detail how it ended up there. Are there any identifying marks on it now, such as the carriage number, or have they all been painted over?
