I have added shots from Jim's meet on Tuesday taken from the back of OOC, http://dennis-lance.fotopic.net/c921583.html Great day out until the rain forced us to become unit neds in the afternoon!

Also, shots from the Brijan Tours open day have been added, http://dennis-lance.fotopic.net/c919431.html. No captions on these as I don't have a clue what most of them are (not being Bristols!). Certainly an interesting collection of stock there and well worth visiting, feel free to provide some info on the subjects in the comments.

The rusty wagon in the foreground. Isnt that the one or at least from the freight train involved in the Southall Crash of 1997? I know some of the ARC wagons from the crash were left at OOC after the investigations.

However I cant see it in Google Earth so it cant have been there more than 5 years.

Theres also an unusually large number of turbos in the Stabling Roads. What time were these taken?

Getting to the OOC depot is very easy - 5-10mins walk from Harrow & Wealdstone to the Grand Union canal then a couple of minutes down the towpath and you're there, just follow the path around the perimeter. While we were there, didn't see anyone other than a couple of joggers and one man and his dog.

It helps if you have a compact camera to poke through the fence, taking care of the grease which has been applied in some places.

We were there around the middle of the day - there was no sun but I can imagine on a bright day this would not be a very good time (as most of the shots were taken looking south).

Looking back at shots taken from this location over time, although most of the locos have been around for years they do seem to get moved about occasionally.

re the grounded wagon - doesn't look like one from Southall to me (although that was my first thought) but there isn't enough detail in my shots to tell for sure what it is.
