One Day Alcohol Ban On Northern?

Can anyone tell me why Next Thursday 12th July there is a Alcohol ban on all Southport-Manchester trains only for one day seems odd??? Kirkbys and Wallgate shorts are exempt from whaty i could read???

Could be to do with the Orange March, I think they have one in Southport. (For those who don't know, the Twelfth [of July] is the day when Orangemen (bands) march on the anniversary of the Boyne, generally it's just a band precession.)
