The Nene Valley Railway Wagon Group is offering the chance to travel behind Aveling & Porter 2-2-0WT Blue Circle over ‘rare track’ on Sundays June 6 and 20. For a small donation to the group, brake van rides in newly restored BR Standard Brake Van B954024 will be available in Wansford yard over lines not normally traversed by public trains. Refreshments and regular Nene Valley Railway train trips will also be on offer.

The brake van rides will operate again this coming Sunday (June 20).
