Asking for a friend who is not a forum member.

She has a non-safeguarded Priv card, which she has had set to her Oyster card. She also has a National Railcard set on her Oyster card.

She was wondering whether it is cheaper to use her Oyster card or a paper ticket when travelling from Queens Park to either Paddington (using the Bakerloo line) or Euston (using the Overground). With a paper ticket from Queens Park to Euston, would the interavailability on the Bakerloo line allow her to use this to exit at Paddington, given her Priv is non-safeguarded?

ANYTIME DAY S - QUEENS PARK (LONDON) to LONDON EUSTON - BR Fares

Also, if doing a cross-London transfer between Paddington and Euston, would going via Queens Park potentially be the cheapest way of doing it given the circumstances (apart from the bus)? If so, would it be best using her Oyster card, touching out and back in at Queens Park?

It doesn't seem to be easy to get straight answers from anyone about this, all the ticket office staff she asked were unsure of what the best option was.
