I purchased an Anytime Return ticket from the FGW website and note that the outward portion still has only one day of validity printed on it, when it should in fact be valid for 5 days.

Is this a misprint on my ticket or do all outward Anytime Returns (formerly Open returns) still only show one day validity? This is very misleading - why can't they be reprogrammed to show the valid until date of 4 days after? I'm not looking forward to having to explain that my ticket is valid to a FGW ticket clerk/RPI unaware of the recent change, after presenting my ticket dated for today only.

The software probably hasn't been updated yet.

Sadly there's no incentive for them to rush to update it. Passenger Focus and other groups are toothless. I bet they were on time when they were reduced from 1 month to 1 days validity though!
