Does anyone know if the Tfl rail 315's will carry the roundel?
A few were yesterday:

it appears to me that the blue stripe is the same depth on both, with the orange line on the Overground fleet being above that level.

Have 317714/723/732 re-entered traffic yet with LOROL?

Presumably 317708/709/710/719/729 & 887-892 have moved to LOROL services as planned?

As well as the roundels, the TfL Rail 315s should be receiving new seat covers as part of their mini refresh.

Just to clarify with 315817: it was actually named 'Transport for London' a good few years back, under NXEA. They've repainted the plate dark blue as part of 817's refresh which makes it look like a new name. It looks great inside and out looking at the photos, and they've tarted it up reasonably quickly as it was out on the Shenfield line as recently as 13th May.

No, compare it to the level of the headlights. It is much higher on LO vehicles.

I am also very curious about this.

LO have 887-892 of the /8s. Although the amount of working 317s can almost be counted on one hand at present.

What's the time line (tender, 1st in service, last in service) projected for the replacement units?

And which units are they hoping to replace first? Presumably the eight 317/7s as they're the least suitable and potentially still unreliable - so they can go off for refurbishment. Or there's the 315s if a potential recipient has been identified.

I thought I'd start a thread re new liveries for people to add pics / links:

Does anyone know if the Tfl rail 315's will carry the roundel?

One downside of starting another new thread every few days on an ongoing process, is that the TfL livery had been discussed in earlier threads about the transfer to TfL Rail. TfL had published a document that included a drawing of the TfL Rail livery - which showed the blue roundel quite clearly.

Is there any sharing of units going on? I've seen a few aga branded 317's still in the bay at Cheshunt, and even one of the freshly repainted aga 317/5's in the bay! Anyone know what's going on?

It was quite a complicated job to split out the LOROL trains from the old AGA unit diagrams. In the end there were three trips from Liverpool St to Cheshunt and back (2 am, 1 pm) that couldn't be split without requiring additional units, so these trains are worked by AGA units with LOROL drivers. I'm guessing that would be what you've seen.

315857, which is now in the TfL Rail livery, has had its 'Stratford Connections' nameplates removed.

Can I ask a daft question.

All class 315s are moved to LOROL?

What other units are moved to LOROL from AGA ?

Thanks.

SO the class 315 units that were AGA are now part of MTR/LOROL?

On ABRail.co.uk 315801 through to 315817 all have the note of: to be transferred to TfL

315818 to 315861 say: to be transferred to TfL

What other classes/units are to move to TfL/LOG?

I cannot see others on ABRail.

Some units went to LOROL to operate west anglia services, along with some 317s. The remaining 315s went to MTR crossrail (aka TfL rail) and are operating services to/from shenfield. I'm sure someone will be along to clarify which ones went where
