Overhead line equipment operative

Hi

I'm currently applying for many different jobs with NR,
I'm thinking of going down the route of overhead line Equipment operative.

Does anybody on here know much about what this job would involve on a daily basis.

According to the proposal to sell off the NR distribution network you'll be sat around all day doing nothing till the wires fall down, then you'll get called out to put them back up!! In reality you will be out and about maintaining the OLE and associated equipment .
