Nice way to start my ALR week.. not. Currently on the vestibule floor of the 1103 KGX-LDS, which is full and standing if at least on time. Expecting to be swamped at Hungtingdon!

Not a good morning on the East Coast! Started with a possession overrun between Biggleswade/Royston and Hitchin as well. First train through was 1P49 (0746 Peterborough - Kings Cross), which was held at Biggleswade for 56 minutes.

Not forgetting that none of the rail replacement buses last night or today were booked either!

Staff at Huntingdon very helpful, sharing information as they get it and handing out bottles of water to waiting passengers.

Certainly was not a good morning. Several Great Northern trains cancelled in both directions and passengers put into taxis. London-Leeds (and Leeds-London) trains stopping at Stevenage and Huntingdon additionally later on.

Probably everyone thinking someone else has done it?

I have no idea, all I know is buses were being advertised at a set time and in reality buses were not.

I was busy last night organising buses as well as taxis to get people moving, if the buses were running to the advertised times rather then missing out stations deliberately then last night would not have been so bad.

It wasn't also helped by National Rail Enquires not reflecting the fact that there was mutual ticket acceptance in place between Great Northern and Abellio Greater Anglia/London Underground which ought to have been a red flag that there was disruption.

Damaged OHLE on up main between huntingdon and PBO. Electrics coasting with pan down thru damaged area (PDC) GN terminating huntingdon with EC SSO huntingdon to fill in the gap. Southbound SSO's also issued for PBO for EC setvices not scheduled to call so signallers can confirm EC drivers are aware of the PDC and to issue SSO huntingdon
