Just wondering does any of the abovementioned line remain in public ownership.
Noticed while passing on a service bus that the abutments of a rail bridge adjacent to the A698/ Horncliffe 1 mile junction appeared to have an identification plate to the effect "KL, some number".
Several traces of the railway and its alignment can be seen in this general area.
