Is there an evening rate at Oxford?
Up by me East Midlands trains do a £2 evening charge from 6pm onwards at stations like Loughborough, Leicester & Derby.
Shame those rob dogs at London Midland can't do the same at places like Nuneaton or Tamworth

You can book the car park just across Becket Street by mobile phone. Anyone can use it. Done it only recently.
