Thanks all.
Nothing wrong with Pacers except i like them less then Sprinters ( Class 150s :love4: )
Was a fine sunny day with blue skys until about 17:15 when 37425 was nearly due which was typical.
37425 was on time unlike most of the valley service which were cancelled or very late for most of the day.

They might be the "new" mk2s which have yet to have had branding applied.

Nice photos Chris

Thanks Jordy, that was the picture I was after...

That was a 40mph impact. Imagine what it would of been like at a 100mph???

I wouldn't want to be on the Pacer if that ever happened.

(Come to think of it, I don't want to be on a pacer anyway).
[EDIT]

That was 142008, 142003 was coupled with it.

Well if the train was hit from the behind, why would it be damaged; was the rear carriadge of the MK3 set damaged (or the first one, or the rear part of the loco)

EDIT-

If the driver didn't decelerate I don't think that it wouldn't pass w/out a dent...

The fact remains, that all in all, the pacers are probabally the most unsafe trains on the netork
