paddington to bristol parkway split tickets

Can i get the 19:15 train from paddington to bristol parkway,if i split the ticket at didcot(travelcard off-peak weekdays with family railcard).
On the national rail website it says no from paddington to didcot.
But it says yes if i go from paddington to bristol parkway.
Going to paddington on the 09:32 parkway
10:17 didcot
