Paris Londres ferry boat de nuit

Can anyone tell me any information on train 231 E 11 Chapelon Pacific or have photo's of the train.

We have found an old photograph of the said train that first operated the Paris to London night train via ferry boat.

How did that work? Was there track on the boat or something?

yes there were tracks on the boat and carriages were of the F Class. F for ferry.

That'll be the "Night Ferry"; the station at the London end was Victoria wasn't it? Ran until the early 1980s?
