During the Sunday engineering works between East Croydon and London Victoria, if one is travelling from Guildford or Woking to Haywards Heath, would you be permitted to take the tram from Wimbledon to East Croydon?

Between Clapham Junction and East Croydon, there is only a local stopping service replacement bus rather than a fast one.

National Rail Enquiries suggests taking the tram but doesn't give a fare.

In the literal sense, yes ...

... because you would have to pay for the tram.

Is Guildford - Redhill - Haywards Heath an option?
It is if you buy a Guildford to Haywards Heath not via Clapham Junction ticket or an any permitted route one but not so if you buy a Guildford to Hayward Heath via Clapham Junction ticket.

Travelling via London is an option on either the via Clapham Junction or any permitted tickets, using Waterloo East and London Bridgd but the electronic routing guide doesn't allow vis London on the via Claphaam Junction ticket.

I was just wondering if there was some additional validly with the trams but it seems not.
