I did this trip in May this year and put details and photos on a travelogue website, but have now moved them to this site http://trans-siberian-railway.co.uk
Some good shots of the different locos and trains used along the way, if anyone is interested !

Excellent website. I've seen your story before, via the seat 61 website I think. I quite fancy the idea of doing something similar myself, although probably on a much smaller scale.

Was thinking of doing a route around Europe however the costs (even with FIP) was very expensive if you take into account hotels and other costs.

Still one day.....:)
