so, since I am making my way to Birmingham new st to change trains, I have a little wait, I was wondering are you allowed to take photos/videos since I've heard many people say you need to sign in and I do not know where, can someone please help

Platform staff might ask you to sign in but that's no guarantee, more often than not, they won't (assuming you're not using a tripod).
