Platforms No Longer In Use at Aberdeen Station

If you look at the map of the station you notice that their is 2 platforms no longer in use. I was just wondering does anyone have any information about these platforms for example when it was last used etc.

Presumably it was at the same time when the north-facing bays were filled in to make the taxi ranks? I think I have a modern railways annual from the 1980s somewhere, showing the work taking place.

EDIT: Didn't read your question properly! (Thought you meant platforms 8 and 9, Railscot has pictures of these). Platform 2 is still in place but for train cleaning only. I presume that the change occured when platform 1 also went, possibly during the change from mechanical to electrical signalling, or maybe when the Guild Street goods depot was closed?
