Plymouth to Bradford through tickets.

Though I'm not travelling until August, I've been doing dummy searches on earlier dates within the booking window and for advance fares it only offers the LNER route changing at Leeds as anything with GC only comes back with off peak fares only, despiteGC actually having advance fares already released on those dates . Anyone know if it's possible to book an advance fare with GC and connections and possibly something the station booking office could do or is it only possible by splitting the Plymouth-London and King's X to Bradford legs? I'm not overly worried about an extra change in Leeds as the advance singles are considerably cheaper than the off peak fare quoted, just itvwould have been easier on the direct service.

Indeed. It would be necessary to split tickets at Kings Cross and may also be necessary to specify a slower or specifically routed journey from there to Bradford.

You could use trainsplit and put in avoiding certain places ie Birmingham, and forcing to travel via certain places ie London. You can also specify to only use certain TOCs aswell, I found this useful obtaining a TPE & Connections ticket for Manchester to Inverness with TPE & LNER next Sunday, providing the train runs from Edinburgh given the Azuma issues.
