To be honest, with it being a path set to run every weekday for the next five months, it's probably one of those ones that operates once in a blue moon (if you're lucky). It's been cancelled the past few days.

Paths are regularly booked indefinitely whether they are required or not. It means it is available when there is something to go.

Further to the above replies, you need to look specifically for STP moves to Ely,
such as the class 317 movement that you saw earlier today.


To do this, use the [STP] filter on RTT:

To add further, it’s exceptionally unlikely to be power cars even if it ran. The power cars at Burton are Porterbrook owned (and likely to move to Long Marston when Porterbrook take over the site (or go for scrap)) whereas it’s Angel who have taken the space at Ely and it’s their power cars located there.
