Since the timetable change the new connection between Hengelo (Netherlands) and Bielefeld (Germany). Approval for running on Dutch tracks was coming in late. Trains end at the borderstation of Bad Bentheim. There is a bus between Bad Bentheim and Hengelo via Oldenzaal for almost 3 months. But even on real German tracks things are going wrong. Some say that transportion needs to be done by someone else, but than it needs to be done at once. They are giving Keolis a second chance.

Keolis (Eurobahn) has the following lines in the borderarea of Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen and Overijssel (Netherlands):
RB 61 Wiehengebirgs-Bahn (Bielefeld – Osnabrück - Heneglo)
RB 65 Ems-Bahn (Münster – Rheine)
RB 66 Teuto-Bahn (Münster – Osnabrück)
RB 72 Ostwestfalen-Bahn (Herford – Paderborn)
RE 78 Porta-Express ((Rheda-Wiedenbrück –) Bielefeld - Nienburg)

Though the actual service they started here in NL: Kampen-Zwolle-Enschede (to connect with that new INtern. service),electric and replacing stinky old NS-diesels, is going pretty well-the still omitted new stop West of Zwolle is not their fault (branded now as Blauwnet-by order of the province, also applies to the ARRIVA-lines in that province Overijssel). Very nice trains too.
ALL/anywhere in DE=Germany are train companies (TOCs for you) having to cope with enormous staff-shortages, esp. train drivers. At the end of the year these are often even worse-people wanting their days off, holidays etc. for that year.
The service was intended to start at the usual 10/12 timetables change day-thats not yet 2 monthes ago.

Blauwnet is also (part of) Keolis? The bottom in the Netherlands is that the fast service from Enschede to Zwolle and v.v. stops already in Raalte, because some tracks in Zwolle are not rebuilt.

Blauwnet is a moniker used by the province of Overijssel for all train services for which they are responsible. Blauwnet is comparable to how TfL handles the buses in London: to the traveling public they are presented as a single entity, although the actual operation is contracted out to different parties.

These are the Blauwnet lines and their operators:
- The Zwolle - Emmen and Almelo - Mariënberg services operated by Arriva, formerly known as Vechtdallijnen.
- The Zutphen - Oldenzaal services operated by Keolis, formerly known under the 'Twents' brand
- Zwolle - Enschede and Zwolle - Kampen services, which were transferred from NS to Keolis last year.

When traveling on Blauwnet there's no need to touch out and in again when changing from Keolis to Arriva, as the province handles revenue appropriation to the operators. Only when changing to/from NS it's obligatory to use the validators.

On February 7, 2018 there is a meeting in Unna where Eurobahn has to defend itself against Zweckverband Nahverkehr Westfalen-Lippe.

A german poem from the Osnabrück Zeitung.
Eurobahn, oh Eurobahn
You drive cimmuters in deception
Despite circumstance like the hurricane
You let a lot of trains not drive
So often the traffic comes to a standstill
Eurobahn, oh Eurobahn,
Are you than that poor
Be than not infamous
And make room for the Westfalenbahn.
Than we all arrive safely again!
Bullying and violence against staff are however shameful.
At the end staff is not responsible for disastrous management.

Summary of the lines that Eurobahn has in the Niedersachen/Nordrhein-Westfalen area.

Even the line Münster in Westfalen - Osnabrück and v.v. has problems! Very important line!

Now 2,5 months later the problems remain on the Hengelo - Bad Bentheim line. In April 2018 44 % is not running. The difference in electricity remains a problem. Today only 3 of the first 8 trains (6.34 - 13.34) were able to depart Hengelo.

According to Treinreiziger all 5 trains for use between Hengelo and Bad Bentheim are withdrawn for inspection of the battery which may cause fire. Bustravel between those 2 cities. 1 in 5 trains does not run on average. 1 in 4 last December 2018.
