Was on a 153 today dark blue/ purple in colour with tfw logo but no wifi or prm I don't know it's number but wondering where it's came from previous to tfw

Would be either of 153329, 153361 or 153369, but I believe the former is currently being refurbished.

What a mess they’ve made of painting the front! Are they all like that?!

A bit of black paint around the drivers windscreen would certainly improve it!
I'm sorry but are we looking at the same photo? It looks immaculate to me

Anyone know why the 150 on the Pembroke Dock branch was replaced by a 143 and why a 143 is coupled to a 153 just wondering

The 153 is one of the fully refurbished and prm ones

There’s a return path tomorrow afternoon
Thanks :) My guess is it's going to be 153369, as only the Porterbrook "longer-term" 153s have been refurbished so far and that would be the last one after 153361 which is currently in the workshop. Then the 5 Angel 153s will follow, seems to be the plan.

Apparently 153306/314/322 went to Landore today - does anyone know why...?

I believe this move was an EMR class 156/9 heading back after receiving repairs or a refurbishment? There is a photo of it in the Railways of South Wales Group on FB and on Twitter
Interesting, I wonder why those 153s have gone back to Landore then...?
