Progress on Avanti West Coast's 805/807s Hitachi AT300 sets

What about 807005? In service yet?

Last I saw it was passing Harrow and Wealdstone on 11/02/2025. That was a delivery run from York to Wembley via Edinburgh.

And only sources on here quote it as fully wrapped.
Until it’s publicised by Avanti no one officially knows.

807010 remains inside the test shed at Aycliffe, all staff have received email that no pictures of unit in its Diversity livery are to be shared.

So, I’m guessing that 807010 is complete now and awaiting static testing.

Looking at a comparison of Avanti Services at Liverpool in June to now, there are a number of additional services in the next timetable - i guess they'll be needed

They start testing them as a single car then as a complete unit.
The vinyl can be applied at the same time as testing

Not necessarily, the XX:43 services are pathed as Class 80x which implies that the Class 807 Everos will work the XX:43 London Euston to Liverpool Line Street.

The additional services which are the XX:02 services will be worked by Class 390 Pendolinos.

The working times are already based on the MU profile.

As above, although about half theservices have ’public differentials’ where they depart origin in the public timetable (and usually in practice) a minute or two earlier than the Working timetable - these will be removed. So yes, some timings in so far as the travelling oublic seer them will be tightened up but only very marginally. Punctuality will imorove though!

Yeah, possibly. This may imply that 807009 and 807010 may be rolled out during the May timetable change

The media launch is likely to be sometime this May/June but all is to be announced.

As far as I know, Avanti have told me that more info pertaining 807010 will be coming soon.

A path is in tomorrow (Friday) from Merchant Park to Wembley.
As there is no path for a loco to Merchant Park, I presume this will be for 805006 which was on the test track yesterday.
